Certain charitable organisations are sponsored by parent groups, foundations, or business incubators. In order to participate in our discount and donation programme, TechSoup New Zealand requires that each organisation have its own income tax exemption status, which we confirm via one of the following documents:
- A screenshot of the organisation's MyIRD page showing its name and IRD number. This will be checked against the IRD exemption register, available online at https://www.ird.govt.nz/income-tax/withholding-taxes/resident-withholding-tax-rwt/resident-withholding-tax-exemption-register;
OR - A written confirmation of the organisation’s tax exempt status issued by the IRD.
